Gustav Stickley Cigar Box, Model #279

Rare Gustav Stickley Cigar Box, Model #279 in very good condition. Produced from Copper, oak and leather. It is complete with the exception of the top of the cedar box which is missing. Most likely produced before 1909 and possibly under the direction of Valentine Marks Kluge during his two years as foreman of Mr. Stickley’s metalshop in 1904 and 1905. This cigar box is marked with the circular mark on the front panel. Less than a handful of these rare boxes are known to exist.
